Quantum Metal workflow
QTCAD solvers can be used together with Quantum Metal (previously known as Qiskit Metal) [MMD+21], which is an open-source framework for desiging superconducting quantum circuits. This set of tutorials provides an overview for using the workflow where QTCAD is used as one of the renderers in Quantum Metal.
The first tutorial of this section shows how one can extract the capacitance matrix for a transmon qubit designed using Quantum Metal. In the second tutorial, we extract Maxwell eigenmodes of a meandered resonator created with Quantum Metal. In the third tutorial, we compute Maxwell eigenmodes of a system designed using Quantum Metal which comprises an Xmon, with a linear inductive port as the Josephson junction, coupled to a meandered coplanar waveguide (CPW) resonator.
