Josephson junctions

QTCAD allows users to do variability studies of the Josephson energy of Al/AlO_x junctions based on a interface-roughness model where the roughness of the AlO_x interfaces is described by a Gaussian random field.

In the first tutorial of this section, we explore the transport module that allows these variability studies.

In the second tutorial, we showcase the Josephson-energy solver’s automated extraction of geometry parameters from layout files defining Josephson junctions.
