From 2D layout to 3D geometry with Builder

QTCAD^®, via its Builder module, allows users to create 3D geometries from GDS and Oasis 2D layout files describing the design of their devices.

In addition to the collection of the general examples found in QTCAD Builder, here, we present several examples illustrating how Builder can be used in the process of modelling superconducting-circuit devices.

In the first tutorial, we create the 3D geometry for a simple device with two coupled xmons. In the second tutorial, we showcase the creation of the 3D geometry of a flip-chip device.
